المركز التربوي للغة العربية بالشارقة يستقبل عبد الرحمن العاصمي المدير العام لمكتب التربية العربي لدول الخليج

استقبل المركز التربوي للغة العربية لدول الخليج بالشارقة، الدكتور عبد الرحمن بن محمد العاصمي المدير العام لمكتب التربية العربي لدول الخليج، وذلك صباح أمس الأربعاء، بمقر المركز في المدينة الجامعية بالشارقة، وتأتي الزيارة ضمن برنامج زيارة العاصمي، للأجهزة التابعة للمكتب في الدول الأعضاء، حيث كان في استقباله الدكتور عيسى صالح الحمادي مدير المركز التربوي للغة العربية لدول الخليج بالشارقة.

وقد تفقد المدير العام أثناء زيارته مرافق المركز حيث زار المكتبة المتخصصة بالمركز في مجال مناهج  وطرق تدريس اللغة العربية، مطلعاً على النظم الإلكترونية المتوفرة بها من أنظمة الفهرسة والاستعارة والإرجاع والحماية، كما زار العاصمي المعرض الدائم للغة العربية الذي يتضمن لوحات عرض وشاشات إلكترونية وعدة أركان متخصصة تحتوي على معلومات ثرية عن اللغة والأدب وأشهر الكتب والمعلقات الشعرية والمجامع اللغوية على مستوى الوطن العربي بالإضافة أشهر علماء اللغة وتاريخ الأدب وغيرها، كما تفقد قاعات التدريب والمسرح، واطلع على عرض مرئي لإنجازات المركز متضمناً الدراسات والبحوث والبرامج والمؤتمرات والندوات والبرامج التدريبية وجميع الفعاليات والأنشطة التي نفذها المركز خلال الدورة الحالية والدورات السابقة.

وقد تفضل المدير العام للمكتب بتوجيه كلمة إلى المركز التربوي للغة العربية لدول الخليج، معربًا فيها عن مدى سعادته بهذه الزيارة إلى المركز وبحماس فريق العمل بالمركز على هذه الإنجازات التي حققها المركز منذ انطلاقته بالشارقة وخلال فترة وجيزة.

كما قدم العاصمي في كلمته جزيل الشكر والعرفان إلى صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة، على رعايته الكريمة للمركز منذ بداية إطلاق فكرته إلى أن أصبح مركزًا إقليميًا، حافلاً بالبرامج والإنجازات والتي دائما تتم تحت رعايته الكريمة.

His Excellency the Director General and Director of the Center reaffirmed his gratitude, appreciation and gratitude to His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah – may God preserve and nurture him – for his noble generosity by gifting the Educational Center for the Arabic Language of the Gulf States an independent building with all its equipment in his new headquarters in the university city of Sharjah, to be one of the new language edifices in this emirate Basema, the emirate of science and culture, and the icon of the Arabic language. He also extended his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Hussain Al Hammadi – Minister of Education in the United Arab Emirates – for providing the necessary support, and providing the center’s needs for employees and other other support, and thanks to the Undersecretary Eng. Dr. Issa Al-Hammadi reviewed the efforts of the Educational Center for the Arabic Language for the Gulf States in the areas of developing Al-Daad language teaching and learning, teaching strategies, educational standards, evaluation policies, and developing Arabic language curricula, in addition to several publications of the center that are recent studies in the field of developing Arabic language teaching and learning, These are: Issuing strategies for teaching the Arabic language, the document for teaching Arabic to speakers of other languages, standards for teaching Arabic for grades (1: 9), developing policies for evaluating the Arabic language for grades from first to twelfth grade, and developing the content of Arabic curricula for grade levels From the first to the twelfth grade, and the weakness of the Arabic language education outcomes (manifestations, causes, and remedies), and the development of criteria for selection of Arabic language teachers and prepare them and train them.

Dr. Obaid Al Hajri also accompanied the guests on a tour of the facilities of the Regional Organization (ISESCO) office in Sharjah. At the end of the tour, the guests thanked and appreciated the organization, wishing the continuation of cooperation and exchange of experiences in order to improve education, especially in the field of teaching Arabic and its learning to speakers of it and others.

The Educational Center for the Arabic Language for the Gulf States in Sharjah – one of the organs of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States – participated in the reading forum of the Ministry of Education, within the activities of the month of reading during the month of March 2019, through the implementation of three training workshops on “reading skill strategies for grades (1: 6) And that targeted the teachers of grades (1: 6), and the three training workshops were held at the Teachers Institute in Ajman, Abu Dhabi Education Zone, and Ras Al Khaimah Educational Zone. This training package aims to provide practical applications about reading skill teaching strategies that can be used with students (1: 6). The festival aims to advance reading and books, and to dedicate its presence to all members of society, through the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. (Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi) Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah – may God protect and preserve him – his activities have continued for a week so that the festival includes a set of cultural activities And various artistic and literary as well as a book fair with the participation of more than 22 publishing houses and cultural institutions. The exhibition also includes many workshops, and literary, scientific, cultural, and poetic dialogue sessions hosted by an elite group of writers, writers and poets, which aim to consolidate the value of reading among students because of its great impact on the development of self, thought and refining personality.

The Center’s participation was represented in the exhibition accompanying the events throughout the festival, as well as dialogue and poetry sessions, and a number of seminars. At the end of the festival, the Sharjah International Capital Book Office launched a competition entitled “I Am from a Book”, which is considered one of the interactive activities for students to spread awareness of the importance of reading, and to integrate the book as part of their daily lives. The forum was attended by a delegation from the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, a group of university professors in the country, a number of educators in academic and knowledge institutions, and members of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Cultural and Educational Foundation, as well as media and volunteers.

The forum aims at its third session to highlight the cognitive, intellectual, scientific and cultural contribution of the Arabic language, and to emphasize the centrality and importance of the language; being a homeland for identity, and a source of civilization, progress and advancement.

Sheikha Dr. (Shamma bint Muhammad) started her speech at the forum with the phrase “man resides in his language more than his homeland,” calling for her reflection to realize that the language is a homeland that brings together many spectra of people, affirming that the Arabic language is not only a language that brings us together, but a country where we all live, constitutes Our cultural identity is within us, and our accumulated cognitive and human experiences are framed by an ancient and great cultural heritage spanning thousands of years.
