The establishment of this blessed center in Sharjah came as a center specialized in developing Arabic language teaching and learning, a belief from our Gulf leaders, and in response to the aspirations of our Arab societies of the need to develop Arabic language education for our students. The language of any people is the title of their strength and their weakness, as it is strengthened if its people are strong, and it weakens if they weak, because it is one of the tools of national, Arab and Islamic identity.
And because the Arabic language is a trust transmitted by the generations, generation after generation, God – God Almighty – has at all times harnessed those who carry their concerns, and watch over its preservation, so God has made use of this service during this time, the patron of science and culture, His Highness, the ruler of Sharjah – may God preserve and nurture him – who I give up in its tender, and take care of it and support it, until Sharjah has become a center of excellence for the Arabic language by embracing many diverse institutions in the field of serving the Arabic language, and its efforts are manifested at the international level in the (ALECSO Sharjah Prize for linguistic and lexical studies), where the winners are crowned at the UNESCO celebration For the World Day of Alg Arab, in addition to the care of Sharjah Language project, a huge (historical lexicon of the language

Pride in the Arabic language stands at the top of the priorities and concerns of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States in the context of moving to serve our beautiful language, and within the framework of the educational center’s endeavor to achieve the strategic goal of developing Arabic language teaching and learning. The current session and past courses, within the framework of the Center’s initiatives in developing policies and strategies for teaching and learning Arabic language.
